1. Our approach

Relay uses only essential and functional cookies and browser local storage. We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or social-media cookies, and there are no pre-ticked marketing toggles. Because the items below are strictly necessary or purely functional (remembering a preference you set), they do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules, and the site notice is informational rather than a consent wall.

2. What we store

• relay_session (cookie, application): keeps you signed in. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax. Session or short-lived. Essential.
• OAuth transaction cookie (cookie, application): a short-lived, single-use value that protects the sign-in flow against cross-site request forgery; cleared once sign-in completes. Essential.
• vite-ui-theme (local storage, all sites): remembers your light or dark theme choice. Functional; persists until you change or clear it.
• relay-cookie-ack (local storage, marketing site): remembers that you have seen this cookie notice so it is not shown again. Functional; persists until you clear it.

3. No analytics or advertising

We do not load third-party analytics or advertising scripts and we do not sell or share cookie data with advertisers. Payments and email are handled by our sub-processors on their own infrastructure and are covered by the Privacy Policy and Sub-processors page.

4. Managing your preferences

You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings; blocking the essential session cookie will prevent you from signing in. On the marketing site you can re-open the cookie notice from the footer. Because we store no non-essential trackers, there is nothing further to opt out of.
